After two-and-a-half years, Silktail is back with two new songs.
The band has grown immensely since the release of their debut LP, In Your Own Shade, in May 2022, having opened up for Superheaven’s Jar Anniversary shows, played the final Sweatfest in Grand Rapids, and supported other national touring acts throughout the state.
This two-song, end-of-summer suite, aptly titled Infinity, finds the band exploring a fresh new sound and perspective, integrating poppier hooks, sunnier melodies, and brighter insights. Both “Infinity” and “Fleeting [birdsong]” feel as familiar as they do new, channeling everything the band has learned from their previous three releases through their new experiences both as a band and as individuals to produce songs with vitality and energy that they’ve never shown before.
